In Lunch Meeting #2, we will place a special focus on social resilience in urban development. In the development of resilient cities that can withstand stress and sudden crises, social resilience is absolutely crucial. We see this when cloudbursts and other climate disasters strike, and we saw it to an extreme degree in the aftermath of the pandemic. A socially resilient city requires attention to how we can build strong local networks, ensure access to resources, and create inclusive decision-making processes. But how is this done in practice? Who has a role to play? And how can the value of social resilience be made visible? These are some of the questions we will explore at Lunch Meeting #2.   We will hear from various stakeholders who, in their own ways, work to create social resilience:

• Gunvor Christensen, Head of Analysis at FOB (Housing Organization): Social resilience in vulnerable housing areas
• Frederik Noltenius Busck, Co-CEO of CPH Village: Development and operation of locally rooted and movable student housing with strong communities
• TBC Paul Natorp, Co-founder of Sager der Samler: A platform for local empowerment – experiences in building social resilience over a 10-year period
