Lab Linköping

October 1st to 3rd, Nordic City Network invites both our members and external participants to celebrate our 20th anniversary and analyze contemporary Nordic urban development. Using Linköping as a case study, the network will internally delve into discussions on how we can create physically and socially cohesive cities.

Program
Day 1 will feature inspirational lectures and workshops that provide perspectives and conclusions on our collective work with contemporary Nordic urban development. This part of the lab is open to external participants as well as the network members.

Days 2 and 3 will use Linköping as a case study to explore how we can create a city that is cohesive both physically and socially. Through lectures, discussions, study visits, and workshops, we will use our collective expertise to understand how to prepare Nordic cities for the challenges we face. This part of the lab is open to network members only.
A framework program has been developed, and we are working on formulating a special invitation to the politicians of our network, welcoming them to take part in the lab. The program and invitation will be sent out in mid-May.
