The second morning meeting of the spring will focus on how we can create coherent neighborhoods in our medium-sized cities.
Mark your calendars for the upcoming Morning Meeting on Connected Neighborhoods, scheduled for April 24th. During this session, we’ll have the privilege of hearing from Finn Williams, the City Architect of Malmö. His focus will be on understanding children’s perspectives in the development of neighborhoods and public spaces.
Additionally, we’re excited to welcome representatives from two other esteemed organizations:
The Realdania Foundation in collaboration with Aalborg University: They will provide valuable insights into the concept of the 15-minute city from a Nordic standpoint.
Odense Municipality: Their expertise will shed light on mobility and functional planning within neighborhoods.

The network will gather in Lund 25-27 September for our annual Lab. Through the case of Lund and Genarp we are going to explore the theme of this year’s Lab – exchange between city and village - the benefits of multi-core structure.
The municipality of Lund consists of the city of Lund and several villages with different character. The multi-core structure is an asset that offers a variety of attractive environments for living as well as business and recreation. The municipality is currently working on a new master plan where the small town of Genarp is one of the focus areas.
In the Lab, we will together work with three main challenges related to Genarp:
The lab will focus on three challenges:
Sustainable mobility
Living village centers
Attracting new residents
In addition to the contact persons of the network we would like to welcome business developers, politicians and planners interested in rural areas to this years Lab.
