Meet the Board of NCN

Hi Anna Flatholm, new board member of NCN since earlier this year!

Tell us something about your work.

I have been the City Architect of Umeå for a few years now. And for more than 15 years, I have worked with urban development in Umeå in various roles, including City Architect, Head Gardener, and Project Manager.

 

So, Anna, what is the best thing about NCN?

The morning meetings! They provide valuable inspiration from our member countries. It’s a simple way to stay updated and find good examples from the Nordics.

 

What will be your biggest contribution to the work within NCN?

I hope to contribute with an overall perspective. Through my various roles in Umeå, I have gained many insights into urban development. Hopefully my perspectives from Umeå and northern Sweden can contribute to the knowledge sharing of NCN. In the upcoming years, I hope NCN can contribute to even more networking, enabling member cities to collaborate on various topics.
